Critique
Setter - Irish Red & White
JD (1) 1 Bayne's Corranroo Crossfire. Difficult to judge this dog. His head was injured right on the occipital bone which completely spoilt the head shape from every angle and hopefully the pigmentation on his nose will improve. Otherwise quite a well made young dog that could finish well.
PGD (3) 1 Collins' Casafelice Elliottdale at Forestpoint. Masculine dog, liked his head, well balanced strong body with good depth. Well boned. Excellent shoulder placement and in hard muscular condition. RBD. 2 Wade's Oldestone Snow Wizard. Very different in general type and especially in head and eye. Good neck and shoulders, strong well bent quarters, in nice coat. 3 Barry's Rustasha Red Hot Rhumba.
LD (3) 1 Sierakowski's Tullamore Troubadour. Very attractive dog and so enjoying his day out. Is apparently rather new to showing and certainly needs to settle, but a real quality dog and I shall watch his career with interest. Found out afterwards that he is by the BOB and so like him. 2 Ryan and McDonald's Berryessa Royal Affinity of Ryemills. Quality dog standing but disappointing on the move. 3 Bayne's Corranroo Casanova.
OD (6,1) 1 Valentine's Sh Ch Tullamore Ted. Real quality dog, super outline and presence in the ring, I liked his head and eye, masculine without being coarse. Clear white and red coat beautifully presented, well constructed all through, strong hindquarters, moved soundly with drive. BD & BOB. 2 Wade's Sh Ch Casafelice Arles Marino. Very different in type to winner, especially in head. Strong well made dog, good neck and shoulders, deep body, good bone. 3 Tong's Kellizlot Master Magician ShCM.
PGB (5,1) A real mixture in this class, no two dogs were alike. 1 Ward's Copperwhite Cinnamon. Quality bitch but rather out of coat, nicely made body and, attractive head, good neck and shoulders, deep body, moved soundly the coat will grow. RBB. 2 Kelly's Shannonlee Crimson Warbler. In much better coat but not the construction of the winner pretty bitch, very feminine. 3 Webb and Lowe's Shannonlee the Rock Wren.
LB (4,1) 1 Ward's Copperwhite Cordelia. Another lovely bitch desperately short of coat, but so well made, well bodied, good bone, sound mover. 2 Wade's Cumhail Cranberry. In slightly better coat but preferred type of winner. 3 Jarvis's Lowdon Oh So Sharp.
OB (3) 1 Barry's Shireoak Hurricane Ruby Rustasha (Imp Can). High quality bitch so well constructed and in beautiful coat and condition, good head and eye, neck and shoulders, moved well. BB. 2 Webb's Sh Ch. Shannonlee the Skylark JW. Nice bitch in full coat but not so well presented, good head and eye. Well bodied.3 Kellizlot Star Attraction ShCM
